About This Game

Gnome Reduction is a first-person co-op game about grumpy grandpas who catch gnomes and sell them on the black market. Play it solo or bring up to 3 friends.


You go into the gnome village at night, grab gnomes with your bare hands and stuff them in a sack. If someone's coming, you get down in the tall grass and wait.


Then you carry the sack to the black market and get paid. Nobody there asks about the gnomes.


You can also just throw them. The village wizard really doesn't like that, and he'll answer with lightning.


The gnomes don't take any of this well. They jump at your face, pull the lockpick right out of your hands and run home with it. The big one in the red hat will chase you down the path.


Sooner or later one of you ends up face down in the grass with a gnome sitting on him. It's usually the one who said he had a plan.


Then there's the forest guardian. He's a huge thing made of wood and thorns, and he walks through the village with a glowing staff. When his eyes go red, stay in the grass, because he carries off anyone he catches.
