What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Fighters on Stream is built around streamers and their communities. Early Access allows us to gather feedback from real Twitch streams, improve reliability, and refine the balance and viewer experience. We want to learn how communities play before considering the game complete.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Fighters on Stream to remain in Early Access for a little over a year, approximately 12–18 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to offer a more polished and reliable experience. We also aim to expand the variety of events and character customization options. The scope may evolve based on feedback from streamers and their communities.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes the core Twitch-connected battle experience. Streamers host the game, and viewers join through Twitch chat without installing it. Features include automated battles, lobby duels, tournaments, character customization, random events, leaderboards, and in-game achievements. We are continuing to improve stability, balance, and usability. Bugs and changes to existing features should be expected during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Fighters on Stream is free to play during Early Access, and we plan to keep the base game free after the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will use Steam Discussions to collect bug reports, suggestions, and feedback from streamers and viewers. Feedback from real Twitch streams will help us identify technical issues, refine gameplay balance, and prioritize improvements. We plan to share development updates and explain how community feedback influences changes to the game.”

About This Game

Fighters on Stream turns livestream chat into a chaotic pixel-art battle where viewers are the stars of the match. Join through a chat command and watch your own fighter automatically battle other viewers. Weapons, random events, and last-second counterattacks keep the outcome uncertain until the final knockout.

Your Fighter in Other Streamers’ Battles

Customize your own fighter and bring them into matches hosted by other streamers. Choose clothes and accessories, create a recognizable look, and stand out on the battlefield. Your Twitch-linked fighter follows you into battles across all participating channels.

You don’t need to stream to take part. The streamer hosts the match, and you join through their chat.

Automatic Battles, Unpredictable Twists

Fighters move and fight on their own. Follow your fighter’s antics, cheer on your favorites, and watch nervously to see what happens next. Almost anything can happen on the battlefield!

A UFO abducts a fighter, an ambulance gives a knocked-out contender a second chance, and a pizza courier drops some much-needed food into the action. A snow cloud freezes fighters, a volcano erupts, and a giant seagull leaves its mark… Sometimes the most dangerous opponent is the battlefield itself!

Challenge, Compete, and Earn Achievements

Challenge another viewer to a duel before the main match begins, if the streamer has enabled duels. Once both players accept, the duel takes place in the lobby, and the winner carries on with their remaining health.

Earn achievements and compete for places on the leaderboards. Points Tournaments track performance across multiple matches. Knockout Tournaments divide participants into heats, with each heat’s winner advancing to the final.

Content and Extra Revenue for Streamers

Make Fighters on Stream the main event of your broadcast or run it alongside your other games. Start matches yourself or schedule them to repeat automatically. Discreet joining lets you collect participants without keeping the battlefield on screen throughout your stream.

Viewers can purchase weapons using Twitch Bits, bringing more action and flashy special moves to the battles. At the same time, they support your channel and generate extra revenue for you.

The customizable OBS overlay lets you choose which interface elements to show and position them to suit your stream. Adjust match settings, host tournaments, and give your community new reasons to return for the next fight.
