What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Forkbound is already fully playable, but its chaotic combination of forklift physics, randomized rounds, and online co-op particularly benefits from feedback from real players.

During Early Access, we want to learn which mechanics work especially well, where balancing adjustments are needed, and which additions can meaningfully expand the game. Community feedback will help us develop Forkbound further while improving and refining the systems already in place.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Forkbound to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months. The actual duration may depend on the development of additional content and the feedback we receive throughout Early Access.

Our goal is to leave Early Access once the planned core content has reached a state we are happy with.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access, we want to continue developing Forkbound together with the community and expand the game with additional content.

More content is already being planned. This may include new locations with their own challenges and gameplay mechanics, additional cargo, customization options, and more forklift-related content. Which areas of the game we focus on expanding will also be influenced by community feedback and player experiences throughout Early Access.

We also want to continue improving existing systems, refine the balancing, and add even more variety between individual rounds.

The core gameplay loop – completing jobs, transporting goods with forklifts, keeping the noise under control, and escaping in time – is intended to remain at the heart of Forkbound.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the complete core gameplay loop and can be played solo or in online co-op with up to four players.

It includes a playable warehouse with randomized cargo, obstacles, and security systems, 19 different types of goods, multiple difficulty levels, and the noise and alarm system with its final escape phase.

Players earn money from successful heists and can use it to unlock different forklift skins and upgrades. The game also features awards and unlockable badges that allow players to display special accomplishments directly on their forklift.

The existing content and systems are playable, but may continue to be adjusted, expanded, and rebalanced throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price is intended to remain unchanged throughout the Early Access period. We plan to increase the price with the release of the full 1.0 version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“During Early Access, we want to work closely with the community. We provide an official Forkbound Discord server where players can connect with each other and actively participate in the continued development of the game.

Players can share feedback, submit suggestions for improvements, and report bugs. This feedback will help us improve existing systems, identify issues, and shape the continued development of Forkbound.”

About This Game

Get in. Check the job. Clear out the warehouse.

In Forkbound, 1–4 players get behind the wheel of their forklifts and head into a warehouse at night.

Your job: Find the requested goods, pick up the loaded pallets, and safely deliver the loot to the getaway truck.

Sounds easy – until several forklifts are driving through the warehouse at once, pallets are blocking the way, cargo starts falling off, and security systems interfere with your plans.

Above all, keep an eye on one thing: the noise.

Crashes and other careless actions drive up the noise level. Once it reaches its maximum, the alarm goes off and your leisurely heist is over: You have only 30 seconds to reach the getaway truck!

Hurry! Anyone who doesn't make it in time gets arrested.

Every round is different

The warehouse may look familiar, but its contents won't be. At the start of each round, goods, security systems, and obstacles are randomly distributed.

The selected difficulty level also affects what awaits you inside the warehouse.

This means every heist requires you to find your way around again and decide how to complete your jobs as efficiently as possible.

19 different types of goods

From everyday cargo to more valuable loot, 19 different types of goods are waiting to be collected.

But take care of your cargo: Goods belong on the pallet. If your cargo falls off and gets damaged, all that effort may have been for nothing.

Earn money and make your forklift your own

Successful heists earn you money that you can spend on new skins and important forklift upgrades.

Customize the look of your forklift and choose which upgrades you want to take into your next round.

Show off what you've accomplished

Money isn't everything. During your heists, you can earn various awards and badges.

Whether you were exceptionally productive, remarkably quiet, or stood out in some other way – for better or worse – your performance won't go unnoticed.

Collect awards to unlock badges that you can display directly on your forklift.

Things (usually) work better together

With up to four forklifts driving around the same warehouse, the security systems aren't always your biggest problem.

Make a plan, help each other out, and get the goods to the truck – unless a clumsy teammate has once again blocked the entire route with their pallet.

As long as the loot makes it there in one piece.
