About This Game

Citrus & Stone is a cozy pixel-art base builder for one player, two players online, or two on one screen. A grapefruit and a cherry wash up on a fully dynamic island with a wrecked boat and a broken campfire. By day you gather, build and hire help. At six every evening mushrooms pour out of the Rotten Bushes to put that fire out.

Build by day, hold by night

Chop trees, break rocks, cook recipes, fish, smelt iron, and work your way up from a makeshift axe to walls, gates and archer towers. Upgrade the campfire to unlock new recipes.

The mushrooms bring friends. If they put out the campfire, the run is over. Prepare strategically during the day to survive the many boss encounters.

A camp that mostly runs itself

Survivors are camped around the island. Pay them to join, then give each one a job.

Brew a round

Grow wheat, brew it into beer in a keg and serve it at the Bar Tab. The little green guys love it and may be motivated to work harder.

Better with two

Tony Grapefruit is a citrus. Sherry is a cherry, which is a stone fruit. Play them together in split-screen couch co-op: two players, one screen, separate inventories. Player 2 picks up a controller and joins at any time. One of you fishes while the other rebuilds the wall.

Fix the boat

Five shrines are hidden in the forest, and each one asks for its own offerings. Complete all offerings and she's ready to sail.

The rest of the island

• Catch fish from the beach and from your rowboat.

• Cook a plethora of recipes, from Guava Chiffon Cake to Sea Serpent Sashimi Boat.

• Grow wheat and different fruit, from bananas to dragon fruit.

• Build a rowboat to explore the sea!
