About This Game

Roomies is a life sim where you and your friends share a house. Up to 8 players live in one household, and each of you plays one housemate. Cook, build, argue and throw parties, all at the same time. You can also play alone and run the whole house yourself.

Invite friends with a 5-letter room code. Everyone plays in the same house at the same time. The host keeps the save.

The house pays from one shared jar. It shows how much of the house tax each housemate owes, and who is behind.

Housemates learn new recipes as their cooking improves. A bad cook can set a meal on fire. Fire scares people, spreads to nearby things and can burn them down. You can turn chaos off.

Build walls, floors, doors, windows and roofs. Add stairs and a second floor. Then buy furniture from the catalogue and place it. Visitors cannot move or sell anything.

Each housemate has 3 traits, 7 needs, a mood and wants of their own. They chat, make friends, fall in love and fall out. They run their own day, and you can take over whenever you like.

Share goals with your housemates, from weekly goals to co-op goals for 2 players. Housemates go to work, get promoted and learn skills. House parties, dinner parties and movie nights earn the house a medal.

The town is a map of lots. Buy an empty lot, or visit a neighbour and leave a note and a gift. Neighbours ring your bell and come to your parties.

Take a photo of the house and add a diary caption. Add your own furniture with mods.
