About This Game

Classic bhop and surf movement, plus a grappling hook.

Play in first or third person, on custom maps or in an endless procedural world. It's made for mouse and keyboard, though a controller works too.

You build speed by strafing in the air, then keep it going on surf ramps, accelerators and the hook. The rope wraps around corners, and it snaps if you swing too hard.

Auto-bhop is on by default. Turn it off, in FREERUN or on your own maps, and it plays like a climb server: every jump timed by hand, with jump stats for distance, pre-speed, sync and strafes. There's a tutorial for the basics.

The procedural world goes on forever.

Forests, deserts and cities, caves big enough to surf in, and floating islands that carry you along when you land on them. Type any word as a seed and you get a world of your own.

FREERUN lets you set up the world and your movement however you like. Change the terrain, the colors, the time of day and the weather, or lower the gravity, add air jumps and lengthen the hook. Most of it can be changed mid-run from the pause menu.

Race the clock or chase a score.

• HIGHSCORE: score as much as you can in 1, 3 or 5 minutes.

• TARGET: reach a set score as fast as you can.

• SPEEDRUN: reach a set distance from the start against the clock.

• FREERUN: no clock, score is optional.

Points come from tricks, and they're worth more the faster you go. Custom maps are timed from start to finish, and you can race a ghost of your best run.

Build your own maps.

The built-in maps were made in this same editor. Build a course, test it on the spot, set an author time for others to beat, and share the map as a single file.
