About This Demo

A free taste of my little archery range

Hi! I'm the solo developer behind Pinup Archery, and this is its free demo. You play a cupid in training with a toy bow, a quiver of rubber suction-cup arrows and 1950s pinup posters for practice targets. They pop up from behind cover, slide along rails and duck away again before you're quite ready. Stick your arrows on her hot spots, set a high score and start your pinup gallery.

Pull back, hold your breath, let fly. Thwock. The arrow sticks, the board wobbles, the score pops. And when you miss, the game will gently remind you: "Wind. Definitely the wind."

What's in the demo

• Three ranges: Lovebird Meadow, Main Street Matinee and Cleopatra's Backyard, one range each.
  
• The Sweetheart bow, the all-round bow every cupid starts with.
  
• All three difficulties: Easy, Normal and Hard, with the wind, the moving posters and your shaky hands to match.
  
• The pinup gallery: every pinup you meet on these ranges goes into your gallery, with her Girl of the Month profile once you've pinned her up.
  
• Demo leaderboards for every demo range and difficulty.
  
• Quick rounds: one quiver and a three-minute clock, so a round takes about two or three minutes.

Your progress comes with you

The demo and the full game share one save. Every pinup you collect and all your progress in the demo are waiting for you when you start the full game on the same PC.

Waiting in the full game

You'll see these in the demo menus with a little lock on them:

• All 18 locations and many more ranges in each.
  
• Three more bows: a three-arrow spread, a rapid-fire cylinder bow and a long-range scope bow.
  
• Hard-mode modifiers like Gale Force, Topsy-Turvy and The Raven, each with its own leaderboard.
  
• The full leaderboards and the whole pinup collection.

Good to know

• Single-player, mouse and keyboard. No controller support.
  
• Glamour pinup art of adult women in retro swimwear and dresses, with suggestive poses and cheeky humour. No nudity.

Hi, I'm the solo developer behind Pinup Archery, and I want to be upfront with you about how this game was made.

As a one-person studio, I used generative AI tools as a starting point for some of the game's content: the pinup illustrations, the music and sound effects, and the playful "Girl of the Month" profiles. But nothing went into the game straight out of a generator. I looked at every single image, sound and line of text myself, threw away far more than I kept, and reworked what stayed - cutting out every pinup by hand, placing each of her hot spots, retouching the art, and rewriting the jokes until they sounded like the game I had in my head.

The game itself - how it plays, how it feels, how it looks and sounds together - is something I built, tuned and hand-finished piece by piece, the old-fashioned way: by playing it over and over until it made me smile.

No AI generates anything while you play. What you see on your screen is exactly what I chose to put there.

Pinup Archery is a comedy archery game with a retro 1950s pinup theme. The targets are glamour pinup illustrations of adult women in swimwear, dresses and uniforms, with suggestive poses, cleavage and tight-fitting outfits. Players shoot rubber suction-cup arrows at the posters. Some scoring zones are on the women's bodies (for example lips, chest and hips) and are rewarded with cheeky comic callouts and innuendo, and the collectible gallery adds joke "Girl of the Month" profiles with hobbies, turn-ons and turn-offs.

There is no uncovered nudity (at most a pose is veiled or implied) and no sexual acts of any kind. The game contains no sexual assault or non-consensual content, no BDSM, no drug or alcohol abuse, no self-harm, and no blood, gore or violence against people - just toy arrows sticking to paper posters.
