About This Game

Undo anything. Nothing locks.

Shelfish is a cozy organizing puzzle about moving into a new home with Shelly, a hermit crab who borrows a shell from every room. Pick up a mug, a book or a wrench and a ghost shows exactly where it will land: green when it fits and counts, amber when it fits but doesn't belong there, red with an X on exactly what's in the way. Every drag snaps into place, and every move can be undone, even after the level is finished.

Five rooms, forty levels

Unpack a kitchen, a desk, a closet, a garage and a reading nook, eight levels each: from a first shelf of three mugs to a bookcase of sixty things in rainbow order. About three hours to tidy every room once.

Three ways to tidy

• Sort it: put everything where the labels say. Plates stand in the rack, paperbacks go in rainbow order, hardcovers short to tall.

• Pack it: fit every piece into a drawer, a pegboard or a tool chest, and hang tools by their hang-holes.

• Make it yours: no wrong answers. Arrange the room your way and find the tidy touches hidden in it.

A fresh drawer every day

A new daily drawer to pack, a little trickier than the rooms and the same for everyone that day. Missed a day? The archive keeps it for you. No streaks, ever.

Never stuck, never rushed

• No timers and no fail states. A star for tidying under par, if you want one.

• When a drop doesn't work, the game tells you why and what would fix it.

• Hints in two steps: an idea first, then "Show me" if you'd like to see the spot.

• Colourblind-friendly tags, so colour is never the only clue.
