Every pebble counts

Your colony starts with one penguin, one nest and a pile of pebbles across the ice. Click a resting penguin to send it off: it waddles to the pile, picks up a pebble and carries it home. Hire more penguins, find new pebble piles and keep the line moving. Piles run dry and refill, so keep an eye on where your flock is heading.

• Golden Pebbles: every trip has a chance to turn up gold, worth many times a normal pebble.

• Motivation: build up points over time and click a walking penguin to send it scurrying at top speed.

• Departure Whistle: in time your penguins head out by themselves, and the colony runs while you watch.

Gone fishing

Conquer the Glacier and the Shore opens up. Fishers dive into the sea, swim after the nearest fish and bring it back to the nest. Both zones keep working side by side, so the Glacier keeps earning while you fish.

• Big fish worth three times as much, and rare Golden Fish.

• Feeding Frenzies that crowd the fish to the shore.

• Double Hauls, bait, an ice hole by the nest and fishing huts closer to the water.

• Trade pebbles for better fish prices, and feast on fish for better pebbles.

Migrate and come back stronger

Once the Glacier is done, the colony can Migrate: start the run over and earn Feathers for everything you gathered. Every Feather ever earned adds 5% to all income, and Feathers buy permanent upgrades such as a bigger starting flock, faster flippers and penguins that know the way from the start.
