About This Game

Grandma has left you her little coop. Raise a flock of felt chickens, send their eggs off on the truck and grow a quiet farm that keeps working while you're away.

JiivJiiv is a cozy idle farm made to look like handmade felt toys. Every chicken lives its own little life: pick one up, give it a toss, watch it peck and wander. Throw eggs into the truck one after another to build a combo.

Follow Grandma's postcards

Her postcards and album notes lead you towards the legendary First Hen. Finding her on Cloud Peak is the end of the story; after that, an endless mode opens.

Migrate across six regions

Move to a new region with the chickens you choose. Each region has its own rule that works as an opportunity:

• Rainy Coast: spring rain triples laying
• Windy Highland: the wind carries your thrown eggs, combos up to ×2.5
• Oasis: the Golden Hour triples egg value
• Dark Island: mutations triple at night
• Cloud Peak: Puff! recipes give two eggs

Your old farm is never deleted, and you can visit it any time.

Breed and collect

Village Hen, Rhode Island Red, Leghorn, Silkie, Araucana with its blue eggs, Marans with chocolate eggs, guest breeds such as the Sultan and the jet-black Ayam Cemani, and the mythic Anka. Mix two chickens in Puff! recipes to find new breeds, and chase six mutation colours and star layers for your album. 25 Steam achievements.

Nothing is ever lost

No chicken is ever sold, deleted, sick or lost. Retired chickens go to the meadow and can come back whenever you like. While you're away your farm keeps earning, and a "while you were away" summary welcomes you back. Your save travels with Steam Cloud.

A farm that keeps its promises

No forced ads. Speed is never sold for money. No premium currency, no loot boxes, and the game has an ending.

On your desktop

• Desktop strip mode (Windows only): the farm lives in a thin strip above your taskbar while you work. Ctrl+Shift+J shows and hides it, and clicks on empty space go through to the window behind.
• TV mode hides the interface so you can just watch the flock.
• Full controller support with on-screen button prompts for your controller.
• Streamers: viewers type !civciv in chat to name a chicken. No login needed, and names are filtered.

For every player

Text size up to 200%, interface scaling, reduced motion, screen flashes off, hints off and separate volume channels. Day and night follow your real clock, with rain, rainbows and full moons, plus a slow-day option.

Optional theme packs have their own store pages. They change only how the farm looks: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, English, French and German villages, the Turk Era, Anatolian Hıdrellez, Sakura and a golden supporter farm. They never change income, odds, the album or achievements.
