About This Game

The streets of East L.A. are a battleground.

ICE Wars is an isometric 3v3 vehicle combat game where two teams fight over the same people, block by block.

Advocates pick up passengers anywhere in the active quarter and race them to an open safe house. Everyone they deliver is naturalized when the match ends.
ICE goes after the same passengers and hauls them to its intake sites. Everyone they deliver is deported, and ICE can hunt down the safe houses themselves.

Highest score when the clock runs out wins.

Every passenger is a person

Twenty regulars live in these streets, each with a name, a story and something to say, in English, Spanish and Arabic. They board your car, talk on the ride, and say goodbye when they reach safety. Or don't.

Drive, ram, fight

• Auto-turret: fires on its own at the nearest enemy in range.
  
• Homing missiles: lock on and let them fly.
  
• Ramming: heavier cars hit harder. Wreck an enemy and everyone aboard spills onto the street for anyone to grab.
  
• Power-ups: nitro, shields, rapid fire, repairs and ammo crates across the city.

Four classes, two sides

Runner, Utility, Hauler and Bruiser, each with its own skill on each team: Slip, Decoy, Brace and Shove for the Advocates; Pursuit Burst, Low Profile, Brace and Ram Line for ICE. Swap vehicles mid-match at your garage or motor pool.

A city that fights back

• Passengers gather in one quarter of the city at a time, and every 45 seconds they move.
  
• ICE pressure burns safe houses down, so new ones open across town.
  
• Parked cars get shoved, wrecks burn where they fall, and the night skyline glows in neon and rain.

ICE Wars is set during a fictional immigration enforcement operation in East Los Angeles. One team plays as advocates driving people to safe houses; the other plays as federal agents taking them to intake sites for deportation.
