Why Early Access?

“Splicers is already tons of fun to play with our friends, and we would like other friend groups to try it out as well. We want to know what sorts of wild game modes and maps players can dream up, and the more people there are, the more maps will show up in the workshop! We'd like the launch to be jam-packed with content, so Early Access will help with that.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This game should be in early access for about 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have plenty of workshop content ready to go, along with much more polished experiences, full controller support, and Mac and Linux builds.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game's fully playable online with friends, as well as with bots. Most of the game's features are already in place, we just need to polish up the weapon roster and curate missions and maps a bit more.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will cost slightly more at full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We're hoping that the Community will hop on for some games and share their creations via the Steam workshop. We would like to showcase popular game modes and maps to really empower Community creators.”

About This Game

Splicers is a party shooter for you and your friends. Pick a cowboy, an alien, or a zombie, grab whatever weapon you like, and hop into a variety of chaotic game modes. Then change the rules and do it again!

Silly game modes

Dozens of game modes, from Deathmatch and Capture the Flag to Hot Potato, Juggernaut, Golden Gun, and Virus. Fill any game out with bots, each with its own attitude.

Change the rules

Set the gravity, the damage, whatever you can imagine. Make the leader huge and slow, give everyone infinite ammo, ROCKETS FOR EVERYONE! Then save and share your favorite setups with the world.

Tough challenges

Earn trophies by completing challenge missions either solo or co-op, and unlock new characters! Hit Arcade mode to try popular custom game modes.

A huge roster

Universes collide with over 200 characters and 50 weapons: cowboys, samurai, zombies, knights, killer clowns, everyone's here. Raise your player rank by playing matches to unlock even more!

Build and share

Use the built-in mapmaker to whip up your own battlefield and custom game modes, even challenge missions. Share your creations on the Workshop and try out other players' ideas.
