About This Game

November 2003. A nine-story concrete apartment block on Stroiteley Street. The intercom buzzes again.

The visitor gives a familiar surname and asks to be let in. His photo is in the resident log, and the apartment number matches. But why is his reflection missing from the mirror in the camera feed?

Night Concierge is a first-person horror game in the spirit of the original PlayStation. You sit in a booth by the building's entrance: you let residents in and keep the "others" outside. They look human and know the residents' names. Small details give them away.

Check everyone

Compare faces and apartment numbers with the resident log. Ask questions over the intercom: an "other" might not know the neighbor or might mix up the floor. Watch the vestibule cameras — the shadow, the reflection in the mirror, the footprints on the floor.

Call upstairs

No one can be in two places at once. Dial the apartment number on the phone on your desk. If the resident answers from home — then who is standing at your door?

Decide who to let in

Exhaustion, bruises and strange behavior don't make someone an "other." Turn away a real resident or one of their guests and you get a complaint. Three such refusals in a single shift and you're fired. Let in an impostor and one of the neighbors disappears. Your choices change the residents' fates and the ending.

Get to know the building. And notice what changes

A cough behind the wall, a slamming door, the hum of the elevator, tea going cold on the desk. With every shift the familiar sounds grow more unsettling, and the building creeps closer: footsteps behind you, the booth door opening on its own, a hand on the glass, a radio switching on by itself. And when the lights go out, all you have is a flashlight — and whatever it finds in the dark.

Play with your chat

Streamer mode: Twitch viewers vote on who to let in, knock on the window, kill the lights, call an empty elevator, jam the cameras with static and trigger jump scares. The pranks never break the story. In the morning the game shows who in chat has the sharpest eye and who is the most gullible. You always have the final say.
