About This Game

A crash landing. A corporate bill. A very long way home.

Your ship is wrecked. Your oxygen is running low. And the company still expects a profit.

We Dig the Moon is a first-person mining adventure with survival, combat, and dark humor. Play solo or with up to three friends to explore beneath the lunar surface and repair your only ride home.

Dig. Sell. Upgrade. Go deeper.

Start with a pickaxe and turn each haul into better equipment. Sell your ore, upgrade your suit, and work your way up to drills, explosives, and a jetpack.

Carve your own tunnels, open shortcuts, and chase that next valuable deposit. Just leave enough oxygen and battery power for the trip back.

The Moon bites back

Giant worms, swarming beetles, and rocks with an appetite can turn a promising haul into a desperate retreat. The deeper you dig, the more dangerous your work becomes.

Bring weapons, watch your surroundings, and be ready to rescue a fallen teammate. There’s strength in numbers—and plenty of trouble for everyone.

Uncover what lies below

Explore abandoned bases, recover logs, and search buried alien structures for mysterious artifacts. There’s more beneath the lunar surface than valuable ore.

Mark your routes with guide ropes, create footholds with foam platforms, and extend oxygen and power lines to support longer expeditions.

Meet your corporate caretaker

Back aboard, Caretaker is waiting. Your ship’s sarcastic AI offers advice, comments on your mistakes, and faithfully protects the company’s interests.

You’ll sell the company your hard-earned ore, then pay it for the equipment you need to keep working. Apparently, a crash landing doesn’t void your obligations.

Earn your way home

Repair the ship, gather fuel, and prepare for launch. When it’s finally time to leave, you’ll have to defend your ticket home.

The next upgrade is just one more trip down.
