About This Game

What is RamiRami?

Somewhere between Balatro and Slay the Spire, RamiRami uses the real rules of 51 rummy: runs, sets, jokers, a 51-point opening. But in this game, every combination of cards you play deals serious damage to your enemies. Start a run, fight all kinds of different enemies (up to 3 in a single battle!), and challenge every bosses and mini-bosses who mess up things with twisted rules. At the end of each round, you choose a bonus card to add to your deck (or a curse card if the enemy managed to empty their hand). Be careful: the enemy draws from the same deck, so choose wisely the effect. Keep an eye on your health bar too! It regenerates a little bit at the end of each round depending on how well you played, but if it hits 0, you'll have to start a new run.

Don’t know how to play rummy? No problem: a quick and simple tutorial teaches you the basics. You can also turn on visual help in the options to get started without knowing every rule!

Level up and discover new bosses, new bonus/curse cards, and inverted runs! A cursed gamemode where some of your cards change value every turn! Can you rise to the challenge and make strategic use of your ability cards?

A different adventure every time

Each run is a 15-floor branching map: fights, elites, mini-bosses, shops, strange encounters and, finally, the boss! Every run is randomly generated, so there is no game like another one! After each victory, pick a bonus card. If the enemy empties their hand during the round, you’ll also have to pick a curse card.

• 80+ card effects, randomly applied to basic cards: one effect for you, and another if the enemy draws it

• 25+ mana-powered abilities, plus passive items that improve your run (or not)

• 15 mini-bosses and 16 bosses, each with their own special rules: swapped hands, a cursed suit, cards turned to ash, risky bets...

• 100+ progression levels that add new cards, abilities and enemies to your game

• Inverted runs: venture into the darkness, face fearsome enemies, and play smart with cursed cards that change value every turn

• Online two-player co-op, with support cards

• Online versus mode: challenge your friends in RamiRami mode or in a classic game of rummy

Hand-drawn on paper

Every character (enemies, mini-bosses, bosses, allies) is drawn on paper before being animated in the game. Their eyes follow you. The music, composed for the game, evolves in real time with the action of each round.
