About This Game

Solve the problems. Survive the Teacher.

The Last Lesson is a first-person horror puzzle game set inside an abandoned school where technical and scientific problems have very real consequences.

Explore challenge rooms, work out the correct solution, choose your answer and deal with what happens next. A correct choice may open the way forward. A wrong one may activate a trap, change the environment — or kill you.

And while you're trying to think, the Teacher is hunting you.

Think under pressure

The challenge rooms are based on concepts including:

• Temperature

• Pressure

• Flow rate

• Volume

• Electricity

• Projectile motion

• pH

• Forces and friction

The questions are not separate from the game world. Your decisions directly affect the room around you.

Survive the Teacher

At night, the school is not empty.

The Teacher roams the building while you explore and solve problems. Avoid him, use the environment to your advantage and decide whether the safest route is worth the extra time.

You cannot defeat the Teacher.

You can only survive him.

Every run is different

Runs combine challenge rooms with procedurally arranged corridors and routes.

Explore branching paths, encounter different combinations of rooms and make use of tools that can help you survive, including the Torch, Detector and other gadgets.

Death ends the current run, so every decision matters.

Day and Night

Want to focus on the puzzles without being hunted?

Day mode removes the Teacher and the time pressure, allowing you to explore the school and solve its challenges at your own pace.

Night mode turns the same school into a very different experience.
