Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Drawn & Dangerous is built around chaos between real players: how weapons combine, which maps are fun to destroy, what makes a 20-player match feel great rather than just loud. That only gets better with lots of people playing it and telling us what works. The core game is complete and fun to play today. Early Access lets us balance and expand it alongside the community instead of guessing behind closed doors.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Drawn & Dangerous to stay in Early Access for roughly 6–12 months, depending on player feedback and how much the community wants to shape the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the game based on what players enjoy most. Our current intentions include:
- More weapons, gadgets and crate types
- New battlefield themes, map styles and hand-crafted maps
- More vehicles and more Frontline War content
- New modes, plus improvements to the existing five
- More cosmetics for the wardrobe
- Smarter bots and more bot difficulty options
- Progression, stats and achievements
- Further accessibility and controller improvements
- Balance, performance and network improvements throughout

Plans may change as we learn what the community wants most.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable now. It has real-time multiplayer for up to 20 players in four teams, bots that fill empty slots, 24 weapons and gadgets, fully destructible terrain with collapse physics, the building system, five modes (Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, Last Man Standing and Frontline War with jeeps, tanks and helicopters), eight themes on procedurally generated maps, Steam lobbies with invites and host migration, proximity team voice chat, LAN play, offline bot practice, a kill leaderboard and more than 40 unlockable cosmetics.

You can play with keyboard and mouse or a controller (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, Steam Deck and more through Steam Input). Accessibility options include adjustable text size, captions for important sounds, colour-blind team colours and team symbols, contrast settings, adjustable gore, and camera comfort controls for screen shake, flashes and camera movement.

Expect balance changes, occasional bugs and ongoing tuning of weapons, bots and network performance. Matches are hosted by players, so connection quality depends on the host.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we add content and features, so Early Access players get the best price. Anyone who buys during Early Access keeps the full game and every update at no extra cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The in-game feedback button sends bug reports, ideas and balance notes straight to us, and we read every message. We'll also be active in the Steam Community discussions, post regular update notes explaining what changed and why, and run polls on what to build next, from weapons and themes to modes. Players who report bugs and suggest ideas will directly shape the full release.”

About This Game

Everyone fires at once. Nothing stays standing.

Drawn & Dangerous is a real-time multiplayer artillery brawler. Up to 20 stickmen in four teams fight across hand-painted battlefields where every pixel of ground can be blown apart, tunnelled through, built on or collapsed. There are no turns and no waiting. Everyone aims, throws and detonates at the same time, and the map is in pieces within minutes.

24 ridiculous weapons, dropped from the sky

Everyone spawns with a pistol. Everything else floats down in parachute crates, so every match turns into a scramble for the good stuff, and the crates explode when they're shot.

  • Bazooka, Homing Missile and Air Strike for long-range demolition

  • Grenades, Cluster Bombs, Banana Bombs and the Holy Hand Grenade for the bouncy kind

  • Exploding Sheep. It wanders toward the enemy, and you click again to detonate

  • Plasma Rail. It pierces terrain and every player in a line

  • Flamethrower, Molotov, Minigun, Shotgun, Sniper Rifle and Uzi

  • Dynamite, Land Mines, Tunnel Drill and Teleporter for the sneaky kind

  • Boxing Glove Launcher, Shockwave Grenade, Bounce Pad and Smoke Bomb for pure disrespect

Collapse physics: nothing floats

Land that loses its connection to the ground breaks off, falls and fuses back into the landscape where it lands. Blow out a cliff's root and the whole overhang drops. Anyone underneath gets flattened, and the kill is yours. Cave ceilings stand on rock pillars. Bunkers stand on their walls. Everything comes down eventually.

Build cover, then watch it get blown up

Press B to build walls, floors, ramps, blocks and ready-made bunkers out of wood, stone or metal. Pieces become real terrain: you can stand on them, tunnel into them and blow them apart. Walls soak up blast damage and stop bullets. Kills and objectives earn the build points that pay for it all.

Modes for every kind of chaos

  • Team Deathmatch: first team to the kill limit wins.

  • Capture the Flag: steal the enemy flag. Your own flag has to be home to score.

  • King of the Hill: hold the glowing zone. It moves every minute, and a contested zone scores for nobody.

  • Last Man Standing: no respawns, and after two minutes the water starts rising.

  • Frontline War: two armies on a huge battlefield of trenches and ruins, with jeeps, tanks and helicopters. Smash through no-man's-land and level the enemy HQ.

Never an empty lobby

Bots fill every empty slot, fight like players, grab crates, build cover and dig themselves out of holes. Play a full 20-player brawl solo, top up a match with friends, or let them hold the line while your team respawns.

Play together

  • Steam lobbies: host friends-only or public games, browse lobbies, join with a code or invite friends

  • Host migration: if the host leaves, another player takes over and the match keeps going

  • Proximity team voice chat (push-to-talk)

  • LAN play and offline practice against bots

  • Map rotation through modes and themes

Make it yours

Eight battlefield themes (Meadow, Desert, Arctic, Hell, Candy, Toxic and the military Warzone and Dunes) on four procedurally generated map styles: rolling hills, islands, caverns and canyons. Earn credits in matches to unlock more than 40 hand-painted cosmetics for your stickman: hats, outfits, face gear and back accessories, from a traffic cone to a rubber duck. Cosmetics don't change stats. Spend match Scrap in the optional respawn shop to kit out your next life, and climb the online kill leaderboard.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

The store artwork (capsule images, key art and logo) was created with generative AI image tools, using the game's own art as a style reference, and then edited by the developer. Some store page and marketing text was drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by the developer. All screenshots, animations and trailer footage are captured directly from the game. No AI is used to generate content while you play.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Drawn & Dangerous contains frequent cartoon violence between stick figures. Characters are shot, blown up, set on fire, crushed by falling terrain and drowned, with blood splatter. Explosions can blow stick figures apart into limbs, and headshots can knock heads off. The tone is slapstick and comedic, and the characters are simple stick figures. Gore is adjustable in the settings: Maximum (the default), Mild (much less blood) or Off (no blood and no dismemberment). Weapons include a Molotov cocktail, dynamite and an exploding sheep; there is no drug or alcohol use. The game has online text and voice chat with other players, which is not moderated. There is no sexual content.
