What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Survivecraft is already very playable, but we want to keep building it together with our community. Your feedback directly shapes the balance, the bosses and every new feature – Early Access lets us develop the game openly and transparently.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently plan to stay in Early Access for roughly 6–12 months. The exact duration depends on community feedback and the amount of content we add.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are constantly adding new features. Planned for the full version: more classes, zones and bosses, new spells and items, more Abyss affixes, further balance and visual polish, new music and sound effects, and additional languages.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently included: 13 classes, 5 zones with 15 bosses, a boss arena, the forge, skins, 50 achievements, leaderboards, local co-op and Steam Remote Play Together, in German and English. Please note: as an Early Access game, Survivecraft changes frequently. Bugs can occur, and save data or progress may be lost or reset with larger updates. Parts of the game were created and are being changed with the help of AI.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase when the full version is released. By buying now you support the development early and get the game for less – but please expect changes along the way.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to develop Survivecraft together with you! Share your feedback, ideas and bug reports in the Steam forum (community discussions). We read everything and keep you updated about new features and changes through regular updates and announcements.”

About This Game

The Void Rift has opened.

Five lands are falling, one after another – and only you stand between the horde and the end of Valdrath. Survivecraft blends the addictive survivor formula with the feel of a classic fantasy RPG: your spells fire on their own while you focus on dodging, positioning and the choices that make every run a new build.

A run lasts about ten minutes, and in that time the Rift sends everything it has. Hundreds of enemies close in from every side, elite monsters carry deadly traits, events like the Blood Moon turn a calm minute into a fight for survival – and every three and a half minutes a boss tears itself out of the Rift. Survive, level up, and decide with every upgrade what kind of legend you become.

Valdrath – five lands, one Rift

Your journey leads from the sunlit Emerald Forest through the haunted Deadmire and the burning Ashen Steppe to the frozen Frostpeak – and finally into the Shadow Rift, where the world itself comes apart. Every land has its own enemies, its own hazards and three bosses who guard the way forward.

Each zone can be played on Normal, Heroic and Abyss. Heroic brings tougher enemies and better loot, while Abyss adds endless tiers with weekly affixes that rewrite the rules. The zone screen even tells you which item level we recommend – and shows you what you are currently wearing – so you always know whether you are ready.

Thirteen heroes, thirteen ways to fight

From the Warrior and the Paladin to the Rogue, the Occultist and the Wyrmcaller: every hero starts with their own spell, their own ultimate and their own rhythm. Chain lightning, returning blades, orbiting soul blades, dragon breath – you will feel the difference within seconds.

Then the build begins. 19 spells can be evolved into something far more powerful, 15 passives shape how you play, and powerful resonances unlock when the right pieces come together. No two runs feel the same – and the best builds are the ones you discover yourself.

Bosses you can read – and beat

Survivecraft bosses do not cheat. Every attack is announced: glowing lines, shrinking rings, warning zones. Learn the patterns, slip through the gaps, and punish them in the vulnerability windows after their heaviest attacks. 15 zone bosses await – and on Heroic and Abyss they learn new tricks and unleash devastating ultimates.

Beyond the zones wait two mega bosses. Kael’Voroth, Lord of the Rift, fights you in three phases with a crystal shield and a five-minute rage timer. And deep below the Rift lurks the Mother of the Horde: a monster with tentacles you must destroy, a swarming brood and a final rage that tests everything you have learned.

The Infinite Night

Think you are good? Prove it. The Infinite Night is the weekly high-score hunt: every Monday brings a new night with a fixed seed and a fixed hero. No gear, no talents – everyone starts exactly equal. Every three minutes the night grows deeper, enemies grow stronger and your score multiplier rises.

  • Earn points for survival time, defeated enemies, elites and bosses.

  • Take on rare challenges: hunt down a Hunter, rescue a cursed treasure, accept a trial, win a flawless boss fight.

  • Climb the weekly and all-time Steam leaderboards (Top 20).

  • Share your result as a card with your rank, your name and a QR code to the store page.

  • Reach 25,000, 50,000 or 100,000 points with a hero to unlock exclusive skins for that hero.

Sanctuary, loot and skins

Between runs you rebuild your sanctuary room by room. The Forge teaches new techniques, the Blood Altar awakens bloodlines and mutations, and the Library, the Alchemy Lab and the Crypt (where forgotten heroes wake) make you permanently stronger. And behind a sealed door waits something that came from the Rift itself.

Loot is a celebration. Chests come in three tiers with animated reveals – spin the prize wheel, or watch the arcane ritual before the lid bursts open. On the battlefield, six kinds of supply crates heal you, regenerate your health, give you a potion, or grant a 30-second power: double damage, faster movement or faster attacks.

And you can make every hero your own. In the shop you buy signature skins with wings, halos, glowing weapons and auras – and the legendary ones must be earned: clear a zone on Abyss, defeat the Mother of the Horde on Heroic, or master the Infinite Night.

Fight together

Two players, one screen: local co-op shares level-ups and loot, and a fallen friend can be revived. With Steam Remote Play Together your friends can join from anywhere. Controllers are fully supported.

Made with care

Survivecraft is developed by a solo developer. Every hero, boss and monster is built from animated vector parts – drawn to stay readable even in the biggest swarm – and the world of Valdrath comes with its own artbook, “The Chronicles of Valdrath”. We care about the details, and we keep polishing them.

Features

  • 13 playable classes – each with its own starter spell, ultimate and stats.

  • 19 spells with evolutions and 15 passives – every run is a new build.

  • 5 zones, 15 bosses, a boss arena and the mega boss Mother of the Horde.

  • The Infinite Night – weekly high-score mode with Steam leaderboards and shareable result cards.

  • The Sanctuary – 7 buildable rooms, bloodlines, mutations, transmutation and hidden secrets.

  • Chests and supply crates with animated reveals and 30-second powers.

  • Skins for every hero – shop, signature skins and unlockable legendary skins.

  • Local co-op for two players and Steam Remote Play Together.

  • 50 achievements, Steam Cloud saves, full controller support, English and German.

Early Access – and beyond

Survivecraft is already a complete, playable game – and we keep building it with you. Your feedback shapes the balance, the bosses and every new feature, so please share your ideas and bug reports in the Steam forums. Here is a look at what we have in mind (ideas and plans, not fixed dates):

New bosses

  • The Blood Moon Countess – a ruler of the night who turns the Blood Moon into a weapon.

  • The Bell Tower – every toll of the bell changes the arena.

  • The Twins of Dusk – two bosses you have to take down together.

  • The Mirror Hero – a duel against yourself and your own build.

More world, more heroes, more challenges

  • New regions beyond the five lands of Valdrath.

  • More heroes with their own spells, ultimates and skins.

  • New spells, evolutions and resonances.

  • More challenges and weekly trials, plus new shop items and skins.

  • Balance changes based on your runs.

And after that?

Valdrath is meant to grow. We dream of a tower defense game set in the same universe, where you see the lands, heroes and monsters you know from a completely new perspective. For now it is just an idea – but if you like it, tell us!
