About This Demo

Few things feel as good as a piece that fits, and Puzzle Simulator is built around that moment. Flip pieces over with a click, sweep a handful onto a mat, and hear each one snap home as the picture comes together, right up to the last piece.

Takes you on a journey through quiet countryside and still water. The demo includes the first three boxes of the Scenic Route, so you can try the game from the first piece to the last. Finish a box to open the next. Every box keeps its own save, so you can leave one halfway and find it just as you left it. The full game has four chapters, from cozy creatures by lamplight to a train voyage out into the snow and a day in a world of mushrooms.

Pieces come out of the box the way they do in real life: some face up, most face down, and different every time. Turn them over, then pick a mat from the Mat Wheel and send pieces to it by edge, by colour, or by whatever the picture needs.

Pick a tool from the wheel under your pointer. Hand moves one piece. Sweep grabs everything you stroke across. Sort lays a mat out in rows so you can see what you have.

Waiting on a queue, a friend or a patch? Set the Table Timer for 5 to 30 minutes. It rings when time is up, and your puzzle stays right where you left it.

Make the table your own. Change the cloth, the board and the mats to suit how you like to puzzle.

Put a record on while you work. The game comes with its own tracks, and you can upload your own music to play at the table.

Eight pieces in every Story Mode box have a charm printed on the back. The demo’s three boxes hold 24 in all. The only way to find one is to turn that piece over, so they turn up while you work. Once found, it stays on the box for good.

Tune every sound and every part of gameplay exactly how you want it. Each sound has its own volume, from the snap of a piece to the sweep across a mat, and you can change how pieces pick up, how the wheels open, how the camera zooms and pans, and every key binding.
