About This Game

Grandpas in wheelchairs, a pub full of games and a mountain to race over.

AfterPub is a party game where drunk grandpas steal wheelchairs, scooters and anything else with wheels to race each other, and you bet on everything. Play online with friends over Steam, or against computer grandpas when it's just you.

MOUNTAIN RUN

Races of up to 12 racers, online or against the computer. Grab item boxes and spin the item roulette for a banana peel, a frying pan, olive oil, false teeth, a flock of pigeons or a hearing aid, hit the boost pads, and fly off the jumps. Whoever's behind gets a little help, so every race stays close until the finish line and the podium.

13 MAPS

8 mountain maps, from Grandpa's Pass to Haunted Hollow, plus 5 long point-to-point runs: Peak to Pub, Mela Run, Old Town Downhill, Jungle Ruins and Neon Downtown. Every map has its own time of day and weather, and a different map is featured each day with bonus coins.

GRAND RACE PRIX

The betting race for up to 8 players. Place your bet, sabotage the other racers mid-race, spend your winnings in the shop between races and see who walks out with the most coins.

1V1 DUELS AND TOURNAMENTS

Challenge a friend head to head, where the winner takes the pot, or play through a short or grand tournament.

THE PUB

10 pub games to earn coins: slots, roulette, bowling, bocce, a claw machine, coin flip, thimblerig, Whack-Al, Code Buster and water pong. 11 party games with betting and side bets for anyone watching: poker, Liar's Dice, Pub Pong, Hot Potato, Beer Roulette, High-Low, Tic Tac Toe, bowling, bocce, Wheelchair Jump and the Grand Race Prix.

No grandpas were harmed in the making of this game. Several were inconvenienced.

GRANDPA'S BACKPACK

Outfits, hats, banners, titles, chair paint, trails and victory celebrations. Everything is earned by playing. No microtransactions.

PLAY ANYWHERE

Full controller support in every menu and game, with an on-screen keyboard for room codes and chat. Tuned for Steam Deck and handheld PCs like the ROG Ally.

ONLINE

Quick Play, parties, public rooms or friends-only rooms over Steam, with in-game chat.

All coins in AfterPub are virtual. There is no real-money gambling and nothing can be cashed out.

Simulated gambling: betting on races, plus casino-style minigames (slot machine, roulette, coin flip, thimblerig, claw machine) played only with in-game coins. No real money can be used to gamble, and coins cannot be bought.
Cartoon slapstick violence: racers are hit by thrown items, knocked over, shot at by a cartoon sniper, run over by an ambulance and suffer comedic heart attacks with ragdoll falls. There is no blood or gore.
