Days 1 to 3 of Purpose of Visit, free. Their papers say one thing. Their answers say another. Question travellers at a border booth, drag the lie they just told onto the document it contradicts, and find the spy on clean papers before the evening news does.

About This Demo

Days 1 to 3 at Booth 3, Kessel Crossing

You are the new officer on the only road between two invented republics. This demo is the first three days of your posting. Your supervisor watches your calls, the queue never stops, and rent is due.

Day 1. Passports. Check the passport, check the rules sheet, lean in and compare the photo with the face at the window. Seven travellers, a few with a story. When the last one leaves, the terminal prints a watch-list entry where every field reads NOT KNOWN.

Day 2. Visas. Visas join the rulebook. Names, dates of birth and document numbers must agree across both papers. A notice on the board says the blank entry is still out there.

Day 3. The interview. Now you ask the questions: purpose, length of stay, address, job. Everything they say lands in the transcript. When an answer does not fit the paperwork, drag the line onto the field it contradicts. Spies cross today on clean papers, and only their answers give them away. You also open your first bag.

Every evening. Your pay depends on correct calls. Choose which bills to cover: rent, food, heat and your sister's tuition. Then read the evening news to see what your stamps did.

Judged by what you saw

Every denial needs a reason you proved. A lucky guess is cited as "no grounds". You are never punished for something the game did not show you.

No one is guilty for where they are from

The nations are invented. Every tell is a document, a date or an answer that changes, never an accent, a name or a face. The satire is aimed at the paperwork, not at the people in the queue.

Good to know

  • About 30 to 40 minutes for a first run.
  • In the demo, unpaid bills never end your run, so everyone reaches the end of Day 3.
  • Fully playable with the sound off. Subtitles are always on. Travellers speak in a wordless murmur.
  • English only in the demo.
  • Mouse and keyboard.
  • The full game continues past Day 3 with new rules, new tools and more endings.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Game text and translations were created with the help of AI tools. The public build has no AI voices; it has no voice acting yet. The art is not made with generative AI: it comes from free CC0 asset packs plus shapes and textures built in code. Sound effects are synthesized by our own scripts. Nothing is generated by AI while you play.
