About This Game

The board is bored. Fix that.

Bored Board is a board game for up to four players. You roll two dice, buy tiles, build houses and hotels, and charge your friends rent. Whoever is richest when the clock runs out wins.

The board in the middle has a face, and it is not having a good time. It yawns, rolls its eyes and sighs at every turn. If nobody has played a minigame for a while, it swallows the dice and spins the minigame wheel itself.

The dice move you. Skill wins the game.

Luck decides where you land. What you do next decides who wins.

Step on someone else's tile and you can just pay the rent. Or you can offer them a 2X OR NOTHING duel: win the minigame and you pay nothing, lose and you pay double. Land on a Minigame Fight! tile and everybody plays a random minigame at the same time. Winning one is worth as much as a full lap around the board, so a good player beats a lucky one.

What's in it

  • A real board game. 32 tiles, 24 properties in color sets, houses that turn into hotels, rent that gets nasty once someone owns the whole set.
  • 15+ minigames. Push people off a sumo ring, race shopping carts, drive a buggy with a machine gun on it, steal cat food while a giant cat chases whatever moves (PSPSPS), draw a flower and let your friends rate it from 1 to 9, and more.
  • Chaos tiles. Get launched across the board by a spring, swap seats with a random player, pay the WiFi bill, run across a parkour of broken tiles.
  • Cash Out or Crash Out. Land on the yellow tile and a game show starts. Win games, grow the pot, then everybody secretly picks SPLIT or STEAL. Everyone splits: the pot is shared. One person steals: they take all of it. Two or more steal: the pot burns.
  • Play online with friends. Share a six-letter game code. No lobby browser, no same network needed. Empty seats are filled with bots, so you can start a game with whoever is around.
  • A cast of weird little pawns. Gentleman, Fish Head, Plague Doctor, Granny, Meatball, Mime and more, plus a shop with extra pawns.
  • Short matches. Pick a time limit or a number of rounds.

Four friends. One board. Zero loyalty.

Everyone starts with 1,500,000 and a smile. By the end of the night somebody has been robbed by a game show and somebody else will not be speaking to you.
