Why Early Access?

“Dino Carnage is a co-op game, and the best way to tune co-op is with as many people as possible. The complete loop is playable today, from the landing to extraction, but balance, difficulty and pacing need hundreds of groups playing it in ways we can't test alone. We hope players will enjoy the ability to shape the game while it grows. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect about 6 to 12 months, depending on what players ask for. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More locations, more survivors and recordings, more weapons and rig upgrades, more dinosaurs and dinosaur behavior, and performance and polish across the board.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The full loop is playable solo or in co-op for up to 8 players: A fully explorable island with dinosaurs that have realistic behavior and breed. A island staff consumed by a deadly rage virus and a story line of how it happened discoverable through exploration. Above all a survival experience featuring dinosaurs and zombies! ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're not planning on changing the price when we leave early access.”

About This Game

The island is overrun...

ZENGEN's research island went dark after an outbreak turned its staff into...something else. The dinosaurs were immune. They're still out there, and every one of them is company property. 

You and up to seven friends are the cleanup crew. Work your way through the contracts to clear the island of former employees. A sky-crane delivers you safely in but won't come back unless you complete the mission, it's company policy. Clear the island of every zombie, recover what you can, and try not to cost ZENGEN any assets. Kill a dinosaur and it comes out of your pay. 

The rig is your base

A mobile armored command post you drive, repair and live out of: an armory, a lab and sequencer, fabricator, and vacuum to save your friends and reprint them in ZENGEN's patented Reprinter. Salvage wrecks and facility fences to print a variety of helpful supplies as well as upgrading the rig. Loot stays persistent across contracts so fill up the rig with as much supplies as you can.

Survive Together

  • Co-op for 1-8 players over Steam

  • Realistic guns, melee weapons, and a tranquilizer dart gun for dinos

  • Rescue nine surviving staff who join your crew and follow orders

  • Bites infect. Treat it before the clock runs out, or someone has to put you down

Find out what happened

Facility terminals still hold ZENGEN's security footage of the outbreak. Pull the drives, bring them back to the rig, and piece together what the company doesn't want known.

Film your own run

Take a field camera, record your crew's worst moments, print the tapes at the rig and name them. When your lifted off the island, the credits play your crew's own footage.

The island, the rig, the full loop from landing to extraction, co-op and the story are in. Early Access is where we tune it together with players and grow.
