About This Game

Nobody Leaves Broke is an incremental slot machine game about paying off a debt you never agreed to, one pull at a time.

Pull the lever

Twelve pulls a quota. The reels spin, the lights go nuts, and sometimes it even pays.

Pick up your money

Coins fly out of the machine, bounce off the tray and roll under everything. They're yours. Go get them.

Pay the cashier

When the bell rings, the cashier wants the Owner's cut. Pay early and you get a bonus pull. Pay late and, well, don't.

Upgrade the machine

More paylines, more reels, fewer blanks. Every upgrade gets bolted onto the cabinet so you can watch it get worse for the house.

Lucky charms

Every charm helps. Every charm has a catch. The catch is printed in red, which is honestly very considerate of them.

Go down a floor

Pay off every quota and the elevator takes you to a bigger machine with bigger money. Five floors. Only one direction.

Coins get bigger

Jetons, then chips, then bills, then briefcases, then gold bars. Numbers go up and so does the pile on the floor.

Lose, but better

Go broke and the Owner writes it down. Spend your IOUs on permanent upgrades and try again. He's so patient :)

Also

  • There's a guy in a hat who flips coins. We don't know who he is either.
  • One of the bulbs is dead. It's fine.
  • No real money, no microtransactions. The only thing you're spending is your evening.
