What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Hippocratic Chaos is entering Early Access so we can improve the game with feedback from players running a hospital together. We want to learn how teams divide tasks, handle emergencies, and progress through hospital shifts. Your feedback will help us refine the controls, improve onboarding, balance the workload and economy, and address bugs and multiplayer issues as development continues.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Hippocratic Chaos to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months after its Early Access launch. This is an estimate and may change depending on player feedback and our progress on gameplay, stability, and multiplayer reliability. We will keep the community informed about our progress and any changes to this timeline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the hospital experience with more patient cases, treatments, equipment, and opportunities for teamwork. We also aim to refine progression, balance the workload and economy, improve onboarding and controls, and strengthen performance and multiplayer reliability. The scope and priorities of these improvements may change as we learn from player feedback during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core online co-op hospital experience for 2–8 players. Players can choose hospital roles, respond to emergencies by ambulance, transport and treat patients, purchase and place equipment, and manage shared funds and medical supplies. Hospital-day progression introduces additional cases and treatments, while in-game text and voice chat support team coordination.
The game is still in active development. Players should expect bugs, balance changes, and areas that need further polish, particularly in onboarding, performance, and multiplayer reliability.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have not finalized pricing for the full release. The price may increase as we add content and features during Early Access. We will communicate any planned price changes in advance so players can make an informed decision.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to gather feedback through Steam Discussions and our Discord community. Players can report bugs, suggest improvements, and share their experiences with hospital shifts, teamwork, and progression. This feedback will help us prioritize fixes, adjust balance, and improve usability. We also plan to share development updates and patch notes so players can follow the game’s progress and join the discussion.”

About This Game

Save lives. Build your hospital. Survive the chaos.

Welcome to Hippocratic Chaos, a first-person hospital and ambulance game for 2–8 players. Team up with friends to run a hospital where the phone keeps ringing, supplies keep disappearing, and your ambulance driver is also your surgeon.

Take charge of the entire emergency response. Answer calls, drive through the city, collect patients, and get them into care. Examine them, run diagnostic tests, choose treatments, and bring them safely home. Every case needs attention—and the next emergency might arrive before you finish the first.

Build your hospital from an empty building into a working emergency department. Buy and place beds, diagnostic equipment, and essential supplies. Spend your shared budget carefully: another bed means more room for patients, but someone still needs to buy the medicine.
Choose a role and put its bonuses to work, from dispatch and ambulance driving to nursing, diagnostics, and surgery. Every player can perform every job, so jump in wherever you are needed. Coordinate pickups, pass equipment, handle walk-in patients, and clean up the mess your shift leaves behind.

Between shifts, review your results, restock, and improve your hospital. Carry your equipment, funds, and progress into the next day as your team takes on new demands.

The doors are open. The phone is ringing. Who’s driving?
