About This Game

Grid Mage is a puzzle game about battling demons with magic.

Figure out the rules behind enemy actions and exploit them with an expanding set of spells.

The game takes place during the Trials, a rite of passage for all magic users. They are a series of challenges that take place within a Domain, a pocket of reality that reflects the nature of the mage within it. Those who complete all the challenges are granted a Mage License.

Your trials will gradually expose you to new demons and spells. Some are meant to introduce, some to re-contextualize, and some purely to flex your pattern recognition. Whilst the bulk of the game is designed such that all available spells are required to solve the current trial, the end game puzzles are more open-ended. With a full arsenal of spells at your disposal, you'll face demonic levels of difficulty. Will you be able to find the most elegant solutions?
