About This Game

Choose a Leader. Build around them. Outthink your opponent.

Focus: Online is the digital home of Focus, an expandable card game where every deck is built around a Leader and the elements they Command. Currently 88 cards to collect and five Leaders to choose from, each with a unique ability and stats.

How a match plays

Every deck is 36 cards, Leader included. Deploy Units, cast Skills, time your Rally cards, and choose the moment you use your Leader's ability. Matches are turn-based: no reflexes required, just better decisions than your opponent.

Ways to play

Ranked: a best-of-three series where you need a win with each of two decks. Climb the ladder each season for titles and awards.

Casual: a single game or best of three, through matchmaking or with a friend using a match code.
Practice: play against a practice AI on varying difficulties.
Story: learn the lore of Focus through the events of the world.

Tutorial: learn the game through a fully automated tutorial that is beginner friendly.

An expandable card game, not a pack simulator

There are no booster packs and no random pulls in Focus: Online. Cards come by element: unlock one with Gold and all of its cards are yours to build with, straight away. You never chase a card through chance, so the deck you have in mind is a deck you can actually play.

Everything else in the shop is about style. Alternate art, foil finishes, card sleeves, boards and menu backgrounds make your collection look like yours, and none of them changes how a card plays. You earn Gold by playing, from matches, daily challenges and achievements, picking up titles along the way.

Play with people

Add friends by Player ID, see who is online, send them a game directly, and join a platoon.

Accessibility

Color Blind Mode, High Contrast and Reduce Motion settings are built in.

Focus: Online is in active development, and new elements and cards are on the way.

Focus: Online uses generative AI in two ways. Some of the images in the game, such as card and background art, are AI-generated placeholders that we are replacing with original artwork from human artists as development continues. AI tools also helped with writing the game’s code.
