About This Game

An FPS that wants you to have fun, not to buy a graphics card

In Flick Frag, teams fight for control of a zone. The graphics are simple and the game is kept lightweight, so it runs at a high frame rate even on an old PC. We believe FPS gaps create unfairness in FPS games, so we take care that everyone can fight smoothly at high FPS.

Gameplay

You start the match at your own base with some money. You buy what you need from the base — weapons, vehicles, gear — and run to the battlefield. You earn money and XP as you take down enemies. You can also climb by helping your teammates, not only by getting kills. If you die, everything you carry drops to the ground. Be careful.

Weapons and vehicles

There are pistols, rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, rocket launchers and heavy machine guns (new ones are added all the time). Weapons also take attachments: you can fit a silencer or a scope you found on the ground. There are many vehicles, such as a pickup, a city car and a motorcycle, and the list keeps growing. The pickup with a machine gun in the back is our iconic vehicle.

Hit feel

We care about hit feel, because in a low-poly game like this the thing that actually makes it enjoyable is how shooting feels. With every click we want you to fully feel that you fired: the recoil animation, the sound, the recoil math, the screen shake and the rest. And you see and hear your hits instantly, because a headshot, a body shot and a miss all sound different.

Movement

Jump, lean with Q and E, turn the corner and fire. A player who moves well is as dangerous as a player who aims well.

Voice chat

The game has voice chat with two channels. The first is the radio: you talk only to your team. The second is proximity: you talk with your normal voice to everyone nearby, enemies included. The radio needs a cheap headset from the base. Shouting is free. So if you're down in a corner, you can still say a word or two to the guy who got you.

In constant development

The game is updated constantly; every version is shaped by tester feedback. We take player feedback seriously. We track what players ask for on social media and keep updating and improving the game. And there is absolutely no pay-to-win.

  • Zone control between teams

NOTE: The game is in constant development and open to criticism. We aim to be a studio that learns from player criticism and improves the game, not one that blocks it. Thank you.
