Sunken is an interactive mystery inspired by Chinese folk horror.

You play as Shen Du, the last heir to a family of river exorcists. Guided by a mysterious photograph, he returns to his hometown to investigate his mother’s death and a case everyone has tried to forget.

A red bridal gown drifts downstream. Children’s songs echo through empty reeds. Pale villagers smile while hiding the truth.

Beneath the muddy river, something long buried is beginning to awaken.

Twenty years ago, Shen Du’s mother died inside a temple that vanished soon afterward.

Now the temple has appeared again.

What begins with the body of a man frightened to death leads Shen Du into a series of disturbing cases: sacrificed brides, imprisoned women, human experiments, and villages awaiting destruction.

Every case points to the same ancient ritual.

The closer Shen Du gets to the truth, the clearer it becomes that something beyond human understanding is watching from beneath the river.

What does it want—and what price will it demand?

Ordinary sight reveals only surface clues. Shen Du’s supernatural vision exposes traces left by the dead and horrors hidden from the living.

But every use comes at a cost.
