About This Demo

The NOSTRA alpha demo is an early build of the opening hours. It grows with every update until release, and the reports from players shape what comes next.

Hard Mode and Hardcore after your first run.

Lead your party through turn-based battles in side view. Build up Boost to turn a routine strike into the one that breaks a guard, raise a Ward and take the hit on your terms, and parry on the frame to make the counter yours. Gear drops with item levels, rolled affixes and sets.

Play with mouse and keyboard, an Xbox controller or a PlayStation controller.

I build NOSTRA on my own, working with freelance artists and musicians who hand-make the characters, sprites, animations and tilesets. Generative AI plays a supporting role in some environment art, backgrounds and store art, and in atmospheric passes on parts of the soundtrack; all of it is reworked and curated by hand before it ships.
