Macro Mesh sits under every game you play. Macros in a node-based programming language, bound to anything. A crosshair you drew. The clip, after it happens. Game servers for your group, a password vault, screen savers. One app instead of five, built by a gamer and steered by gamers.

About This Software

Macro Mesh is in early alpha. It works, it's rough in places, and it updates often.

The things your games leave out

Every game ships with the controls it wants you to have, the crosshair it settled on, and no way to keep the moment you just had. Macro Mesh sits under all of them. Write macros in a node-based programming language and bind them to anything. Aim with a crosshair you drew. Save the clip after it happens. See what's running on a HUD. It's one app instead of five, and the pieces know about each other: a macro can save a replay, a crosshair can react to the keys you press, and your voice can run a macro.

Made to fit you, not the other way round

Not everyone can hold three keys at once, or keep one held for a whole fight. Macro Mesh was built with players with limited hand mobility in mind from the start: one press can be a combo, a hold can be a toggle, and a game that expects a whole hand can be played with less. That's the heart of it, and it turns out everyone wants their setup to fit them.

Built by a gamer, steered by gamers

Macro Mesh is one developer who plays the same games you do. There's no roadmap written in a meeting: what gets built next is what the community asks for most. Requests become features, bug reports become patch notes, and the people using it decide where it goes.

What's inside

  • A node-based programming language for macros, bound to any key, mouse button or controller
  • Macros that watch the screen or listen for your voice
  • Custom animated crosshairs for any game, animated in the same node-based programming language
  • A zoom lens: press a key and the centre of your screen is magnified, in steps you choose
  • An ADS button: aim down sights and the crosshair fades or shrinks, and the lens can open with it
  • Instant replay and session recording, with a clip editor
  • A HUD that shows which macros are on, and an overlay to change your bindings without leaving the game
  • Your own keyboard, mouse and controller layouts
  • Server Deck: dedicated game servers for your group in the cloud, on your own account, powered on and off from the app
  • Vault: a password manager, encrypted before anything leaves your PC
  • Screen savers for when you step away, in a few styles to pick from
  • Steam Workshop for macros, crosshairs and layouts

Compatibility

Macro Mesh never touches the game. The crosshair is a window drawn over the screen, macros send keyboard and mouse input the way Windows does, and nothing is injected into a game or read from it. Windows 10 and 11.
  • Display modes. The crosshair, zoom lens and HUD work in windowed and borderless windowed, and in fullscreen with Windows' fullscreen optimisations on (the default). In true exclusive fullscreen Windows draws nothing over the game, so switch that game to borderless. Macros work in every mode.
  • Anti-cheat. Macro Mesh does not hook, inject into or hide from anything. Whether a game allows macros is that game's rule, not ours; check before using them in competitive play. The optional Interception driver, which sends macro input as real device input, is a kernel driver that some anti-cheat systems detect and may block. It is off unless you install it, and the app warns you before you do.
  • Recording and streaming. The crosshair can be kept out of your recordings and streams, or included. Your choice, per crosshair.

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Features a single optional AI node that works with a locally installed LLM when enabled.
