About This Game

Panning Out is a cozy game about a village goldsmith, a sleepy creek and a pan full of mud. Dig the riverbank, wash out the gold, melt it down at your forge and craft rings, coins and lockets for the neighbors who come knocking.

There is no rush. Every morning brings new orders, every evening your little stall grows a bit... until one day the Queen herself sends for you.

Dig where the soil looks rich, pour each load into your pan and shake it in the stream until the mud washes away. Flick out the stones and watch the gold appear. Rubies, sapphires, emeralds and amethysts hide in the gravel too.

Pump the bellows, refine your gold to the karat each order asks for, then tip the crucible and pour slowly into the mold. Eighteen molds wait to be unlocked, from humble coins and rings to lockets, goblets and a royal tiara.

Polish rough castings until they gleam, strike hallmarks with a steady hand and set gemstones into rings. Later on, work with rose and white gold for customers with refined taste.

Pick orders from the morning board, pack each piece with its card and ring the bell. Every villager reacts to their package. Get it right and your regulars warm up to you, bringing hearts, gifts and little stories of their own.

Paint your stall, hang garlands, fill the shelves and choose a gift wrap your customers will love. Upgrade your shovels, pans and forge at the village store, and earn your place in the guild with masterpiece exams.
