About This Game

Build the festival of your dreams!

In Feste Feiern: German Festival Tycoon you plan and run your own festival grounds – with everything that makes a real German folk festival: Ferris wheel and bumper cars, roasted almonds and currywurst, mulled wine in the snow and arches of light at night.
"Feste feiern" is German for "celebrating festivals".

Design your festival grounds

• Paint main and side lanes, then place stalls, rides and decorations on a grid – rotatable in four directions.
  
• Every business has an entrance, a queue and an exit. The game tells you in plain words whether everything is connected properly.
  
• More than ten rides, including a Ferris wheel, log flume, ghost train, Breakdancer, drop tower, wave swinger and children's carousel.
  
• Food and game stalls from currywurst & fries, fried fish and roasted almonds to shooting galleries and lottery booths – plus toilets, first aid and bins.
  
• Move, rotate, demolish, undo: the editor invites you to experiment.

Living crowds

• Families, couples, groups of friends and school classes roam the grounds together – each with their own budget and needs such as hunger, fun and energy.
  
• Guests weigh price, waiting time, distance and mood before they join a queue.
  
• Queues grow, lanes fill up, tills ring: your income comes from real visits, not from a spreadsheet.

Three festivals, one venue

• Funfair (Kirmes) – colourful stalls, carousels and bustle by day and at dusk.
  
• Christmas market – snow, a mulled-wine bar and warm lights.
  
• Festival of lights – glowing arches, a giant lotus flower, animal lanterns, a fire island, a light fountain and searchlights sweeping the night sky.

Weather and time of day

Sunshine, wind, rain and snow change the atmosphere and the number of visitors. When night falls, the lights come on everywhere – and your festival grounds are transformed.

Venues all over town

Start on the meadow in the city park and secure concessions for further festival grounds, each with its own requirements.

In development

Feste Feiern is in active development. Planned features include festival days with an evening rush and cash-up, a reputation that attracts more guests, guest thoughts and more festivals such as a summer fête and Oktoberfest.

Generative AI was used during development to create pre-made content: concept and reference images, character sprites, textures and UI graphics (OpenAI image generation), the game logo (Google Gemini), some 3D model drafts (Tripo) and sound effects (ElevenLabs). All AI-generated material was selected, edited, modelled and integrated by the developer in Blender and Unity. The game does not generate any content with AI while you play and does not connect to AI services.
