About This Demo

What is included in this demo?

This free demo of Froggy Roams offers the desktop companionship and travel loop available in the current development build. You can try:

• Desktop companionship and chat: interact with Froggy using the conversation modes provided in the game.

• Packing and travel: prepare its bag, await its departure and follow its journey on the map.

• Letters, postcards and collecting: read travel letters, collect postcards and souvenirs, and revisit travel records.

• A focus timer to accompany work or study.

How does it differ from the full game?

The demo is a separate, free Steam app for trying the current development build. It uses the base game's content from that build without an additional demo playtime limit or feature lock. It is not a first-chapter-only demo or a selection of a few destinations. All activities listed above are included.

The full game is still in development. This demo does not represent its final release content; later content not supplied in this demo build is outside the scope of this demo. The full game's final content will be described at release.

Cloud AI and online features remain subject to their service availability and usage rules. No demo playtime limit does not mean unlimited cloud AI usage.

Froggy Roams is an AI-powered travel pet that lives on your desktop.

It keeps you company, chats with you, and remembers the experiences you share. It also packs its own bag and sets off into the world using real-world transportation services. Along the way, it experiences the destination’s current weather and local time, sends home letters and postcards, and may return with a souvenir from the journey.

### It Has a World of Its Own

Pack Froggy’s bag, leave a little note, and wait for it to decide when it is ready to leave.

It chooses a destination, begins its journey, and temporarily disappears from your desktop. You cannot control every part of the trip—and because Froggy can leave, every reunion feels more meaningful.

### Travel Connected to the Real World

Every journey draws on information from the world outside your screen:

- Real cities and transportation schedules

- The destination’s current weather and local time

- Different journeys by plane, high-speed rail, and more

- Travel stories, letters, and postcards shaped by the trip

A rainy city leaves behind rainy memories, while a late-night arrival creates a story that belongs to the night. As the real world changes, every departure becomes a little different.

### It Remembers What Happened Between You

Froggy is more than a character waiting for commands.

It remembers the people, cities, and wishes you talk about, and it can recall journeys from the past. Your conversations may influence where it goes next, while the experiences you share gradually shape its preferences and the way it expresses itself.

### Keep Every Departure and Reunion

A journey does not disappear when Froggy comes home. It becomes part of a shared history you can revisit:

- Read letters sent during each journey

- Collect postcards shaped by local weather and travel stories

- Display souvenirs on the collection shelf

- Explore visited cities on the travel map

- Select an old keepsake and listen to Froggy remember the trip

### Quiet, Thoughtful Desktop Companionship

Froggy can stay on your desktop while you work, study, or relax.

There are no mandatory daily chores, and the game will not punish you for stepping away. Froggy does not demand your constant attention. It simply lives, travels, and grows at its own pace in real time.

Sometimes it is beside you on the desktop. Sometimes it is somewhere far away.

But it always comes home with a new story to tell.

This game was created by a solo developer. During development, generative AI was used to assist with some artwork, store promotional images, localized text, and narrative materials. While the game is running, it connects to external AI services to dynamically generate Froggy’s dialogue, travel letters, postcard images, and parts of its travel stories based on player conversations, character memories, real-world weather, and current travel status. Generated content may vary depending on player input and service availability.
