About This Game

"The Caretaker: Block 9" is a horror game set in an early-2000s Polish post-communist apartment building.

You play as Janusz Nowakowski, a 60-year-old retired caretaker who returns to his old occupation. At first, the job seems ordinary. But things soon start to become stranger and more dangerous, putting Janusz in terrifying situations he must find a way to escape from.

Will he manage to make it through?

That's your job.

The game focuses partially on the narrative which results in dialogues and uncovering the story while playing. It is not a typical horror "notes collecting simulator". As the caretaker the player is given few task which he has to complete but he gets interrupted.
