Mame is a desktop companion, a small black bean-cat with glasses, who lives in a corner of your screen and helps your Japanese stick. Whenever you have a spare moment, Mame offers a single card: read this kana, recall this word. Answer with a click, or wave it away for free. That's it.

Spaced repetition, working in the background

Mame runs an honest spaced-repetition engine. It shows you what you're about to forget, right when you're about to forget it, and keeps bringing new characters back around until they finally stick. Kana first, then N5 vocabulary. No cramming, no full-screen sessions. Just tiny, well-timed reviews scattered through your day.
