Bring a Lost Internet Back Online

Restore the Internet is a cozy incremental about bringing a small, fictional old web back to life. Repair broken pages one block at a time, host them on a webring, and arrange them so that every neighbor helps the next. Then teach your retro desktop to do the work for you.

Restore Pages Block by Block

Hold the cursor over a corrupted page and watch colorful pixel illustrations reappear. Every restored site joins your archive for good and earns credits once you host it.

Placement Changes Everything

Galleries pull visitors to nearby forums, forums speed up recovery when archives sit beside them, and archives lighten the load on their neighbors. The live preview shows income, traffic and repair speed before you commit, so every layout is a real decision.

Teach Your Desktop to Work

Upgrade CPU, modem and hosting, unlock recovery queues and focus, and write simple rules that discover and publish sites while you plan the next move.

A Desktop Full of Little Programs

Read Scrapbook letters, route mail through Packet Post's pipe puzzles, tune Mosaic Radio, and take on community cases that ask for specific network shapes.

Four Neighborhoods, One Proper Ending

Grow from a single homepage through Personal Web, Fan Clubs, Night Channels and The Great Archive, then run the final broadcast. No forced resets, no online account, no artificial waiting.
