Never played Mahjong? No worries!

Each ruleset has a comprehensive interactive tutorial and glossary that guides you through how to play step-by-step for beginners. Play a real hand of each ruleset to experience the actual differences between them. What makes Taiwanese Mahjong different from Riichi Mahjong? Why does Singaporean Mahjong include animal tiles? All 8 rulesets include a tutorial to help onboard you! Whether you're brand new or already experienced in one ruleset, you can expand your Mahjong skills with new ways to play.

The Glossary contains an overview of all things Mahjong. Inside is an overview of all the rulesets, definitions of all the tiles, winning hand combinations and how many points they are worth, and descriptions of all the unique differences in each ruleset to quickly refer to.

Want to customize your experience?

Each ruleset has defined toggles so you can change "house rules" to fit how you like to play. Set the points needed to win a hand, disable specific winning combinations, or adjust bonus scoring rules. You can also change the appearance of the table to your liking! Customize the tiles from the color and pattern of the backing down to the faces of the tiles themselves. Prefer a red table over green? Go for it! Want your seat color to be dark blue and your opponents bright pink? There's an endless combination of colors to restyle the table to fit your vibe.
