Story

You were once the most celebrated horror novelist in the world.

Your monsters, curses and descents into madness kept countless readers awake at night. Some even claimed that one of your novels had truly killed someone.

One day, while walking alone, an unnatural fog swallowed the entire street.

When you wake, you find yourself in an unfamiliar city. Tower blocks repeat without end. Street numbers point to the wrong places. Something in the fog is always watching.

This place is called Fog City, and the records scattered through its streets appear to have been written by you.

Voices from the future sometimes bleed through the telephone.

Yet you cannot remember why you came here.

To escape, you must venture into the fog, locate the anomalous relics hidden across the city and piece your missing memories back together.

But remain suspicious.

Do not trust the voices on the telephone.

Do not trust anything that looks normal.

If the compass suddenly veers away from your destination, do not assume it is broken.

It may be pointing toward something you cannot see.
