Build a garden. Find a balance.

Zenden is a zen garden puzzle and decoration game about the relationships between the things you place. Arrange plants, rocks, water features, and traditional structures across isometric landscapes. Bring neighboring items into harmony, work within each garden’s constraints, and transform an empty patch of ground into somewhere worth meditating.

Every placement contributes to the garden around it. Similar items can create Unity, while contrasting types bring Variety. Spirit and Energy add further considerations, making each zen garden arrangement a balance of practical choices and personal expression.

Each garden presents its own terrain layout, palette, and goals. A limited space might ask you to bring related items together, introduce more variety, or find room for a particular combination of features. Paths, rivers, bridges, and carefully positioned structures offer new ways to think about how the landscape fits together.

Bonus goals invite you to look closer and find more in a garden you’ve already completed.

Shape the landscape

Paint terrain, build shrines, plant trees, and rotate your view to consider an arrangement from another angle. Combine greenery with stone, connect spaces with paths, and build around the features already present in the landscape.

Experiment freely with undo and redo. Move between ideas, revise a corner, or start again when a different arrangement catches your imagination. The garden takes shape one decision at a time.

Make room for the little things

Look beyond the puzzle and watch the garden’s quieter activity. Birds perch among its features, butterflies visit suitable habitats, and fish leap from the water. Plants sway, water ripples, and small animated details give you reasons to pause between placements to find your own moment of zen.
