What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Mossu is entering Early Access because the core space terrarium experience is ready, but the full game is still growing. Early Access lets players explore Mossu the cube-sat craft while we continue building the larger vision. During this period we will introduce terrestrial play, expand the solar system, refine the simulation, and add new creative tools.

We are committed to finishing Mossu and supporting it long after Early Access. The game will receive regular updates, new environments, and new systems throughout development. Early Access gives us a chance to work directly with players, gather feedback, and shape Mossu into a complete and expressive space and terrestrial simulation.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect our development timeline of early access to conclude within 6 months to a year at most.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version focuses on Earth orbit terrarium gameplay.

Planned Features During Early Access:
-Bigger Plant Library
-more modules
-refined art
-Multiplayer
-Moon orbit terrariums
-Mars orbit terrariums
-Moon surface rovers
-Mars surface rovers”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access right now ships with Earth orbital gameplay among 14 authored placeable plants and craft expansion.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Early access backers receive a discounted up front price, we're not planning on changing the price during early access but will raise it for full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through active communication on Steam, Discord, and our social media channels. Players can reach us directly through Mossu’s Steam community hub, Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube. During Early Access we will listen closely to feedback, gather suggestions, and use community discussions to help guide future updates. Our goal is to keep communication open and make sure players feel heard while Mossu continues to grow.”

About This Game

A microgravity plant‑care sandbox where you build out your own cube-sat terrariums, grow real species, and learn botany in Earth orbit.

Mossu is a plant ecosystem simulator set in low Earth orbit. Each plant is procedurally generated on real morphology and physiology rules, with neighbour‑aware growth, drift, and resource sharing. Build your cubesat terrarium in any direction, nurture your plants from sprout to fruit, and use precision tools to prune, vacuum, water, and feed.

This is a cozy, science‑driven sandbox where everything behaves according to real rules.

  • 14 real plant species, each modeled with accurate morphology and physiology

  • Neighbour‑aware growth, where plants respond to drift, crowding, and shared resources

  • Cubesat terrarium building, expand your orbital garden in any direction

  • Hands‑on plant care, use nutrient bags, prune with shears, vacuum debris, and water roots

  • Microgravity drift and motion, giving your terrarium a living, floating feel

  • Learn real botany through interactive orbital plant care and species behavior

  • Bonsai Trees that run on real time growth, and game time plants that run on an accelerated schedule
