About This Game

Any General Store is a Chinese ink-wash-style game of “shop management + Five Elements alchemy puzzles.” Place your goods right, set your prices well, then use the Demon-Refining Pot to refine materials into treasures as you travel through sects and meet companions.

① Stocking Up

Before each round of opening the shop, look through your inventory and choose your goods, place them on the trays on the counter, and set a price for each item. What to stock, how much to put out, and how high to price it all depend on your judgment.

② Open for Business

Once you open, customers come one after another, reaching for whatever catches their eye. With limited tray space and inventory, try to close every sale—only goods that sell bring spirit stones; unsold goods just sit there. Where you place goods and how you price them: that is the whole of your skill.

③ Refining

You cannot make big money just by buying low and selling high. Go to the Demon-Refining Pot, place beads on the grid, and guide the gems’ light to refract and channel along the way, converging where it should go. Then you can refine materials into more valuable treasures. The Five Elements generate and restrain one another; how the light path runs depends entirely on how you place things.

④ Setting Out

After staying in one sect for too long, set off for the next. On the road, there are material stages to clear. In new places, there will be new order requests, new customers, and companions with their own talents who will keep the shop going with you.
