About This Game

Halloway is a small town with five places nobody dares to visit after dark.

You and up to three other fellow investigators have come to find out what happened there. The buildings have been abandoned. The lights are out. Something is still inside. And it doesn't want you there.

THE DARKNESS ISN'T SAFE

The Halloway Haunting is a first-person co-op horror game for 1–4 players.

Explore abandoned locations, search for clues, solve puzzles, and restore power one area at a time. Every light you bring back gives you somewhere safe to breathe. But the darkness is never far away.

The Wraith is hunting you. It can appear when you least expect it, and when the lights go out, nowhere feels safe.

STAY TOGETHER. OR SPLIT UP.

Play alone, with friends online, or with up to four players in local split-screen.

Working together makes some things easier. Splitting up lets you cover more ground, but it also means you might spend several minutes completely alone in the dark.

IF SOMEONE DIES, THEIR STUFF STAYS BEHIND

When a teammate dies, everything they were carrying is left behind where they died.

The key you need might be sitting on the other side of the room from the thing that just killed them. Someone has to decide whether it's worth going back.

Players who are caught can watch their surviving teammates through their cameras. But if everyone goes down, the investigation is over.

FIVE HAUNTED LOCATIONS

• Halloway Police Station — Search the offices, bullpen, cell block, and basement before finding a way out through the woods.
  
• St. Aldwyn's Hospital — An abandoned hospital evacuated in the middle of a shift. Bring its four wings back online and reach the rooftop before the Wraith finds you.
  
• Meridian Bay Aquarium — The exhibits have been left to decay, and the only way out is through an underwater escape tunnel.
  
• Halloway Fuel & Market — A deserted gas station on an empty highway. Restore the power, get the pumps running, and get out of there.
  
• The Allen-Mercur House — An 1863 mansion haunted by a family's grief. Finish what they started and uncover what happened inside.

NO TWO INVESTIGATIONS ARE EXACTLY THE SAME

Important items, clues, and puzzle solutions change from one playthrough to the next.

The key might be in a different desk. The combination might change. The clues you find might lead you somewhere completely different.

You can't simply memorize the solution. You have to investigate.
