What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I’ll Keep It isn’t meant to feel like a rigidly pre-planned place, but like an island that grows over time and gradually opens up new possibilities. Early Access gives me the chance to take that journey together with the players: to learn which routines are fun, which places stay with them, where systems need improvement, and which ideas are worth developing further. I want to use that feedback to expand and refine the game step by step.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I currently expect I’ll Keep It to remain in Early Access for roughly 1–2 years. This may change depending on how the game develops and what I learn from player feedback along the way.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Throughout Early Access, I plan to expand the island with additional areas, places to restore and manage, guest activities, progression and new ways to interact with the world. I also intend to continue developing the underlying story and mystery, while refining existing systems based on player feedback. The goal is for the full version to offer a larger, deeper and more varied island while keeping the same core experience of welcoming guests, caring for the place and making it your own.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the start of Early Access, I’ll Keep It is planned to offer the core island experience with a fully playable daily loop. Players can welcome arriving guests, plan their stays, clean, repair, restock and serve across the island, restore neglected places and explore the world as it develops around them. The game also includes progression that carries across days, alongside the beginning of the island’s story and underlying mystery.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase as the game grows during Early Access and may increase again when the game leaves Early Access. Any changes will reflect the amount of content and the overall state of the game at that time.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback will be an important part of Early Access. I plan to use Steam Discussions and social channels to gather feedback on updates, existing systems and what players would like to see next. I’m especially interested in what players want to KEEP, what they WISH was part of the game, and what they feel needs a FIX. Screenshots, clips and stories from the community will also help me understand which parts of the island and its systems resonate most with players.”

About This Game

WELCOME GUESTS. SHAPE THE ISLAND. BREAK THE CYCLE

You didn't plan on owning an island.

But after an unexpected auction leaves you responsible for a neglected little place somewhere in the Mediterranean, that's exactly where you end up.

I'LL KEEP IT is a first-person hospitality and island management game about taking care of a place that has been left behind. One guest, one repair and one day at a time.

Guests arrive by seaplane with their own plans, expectations and personalities. It is up to you to prepare the island for them, decide what needs your attention and keep everything running throughout the day.

Take care of the island

There is always something that could use your attention.

Clean up neglected spaces, repair broken objects, restock supplies, serve guests and gradually bring cafés, shops, paths and other parts of the island back to life.

You decide what is worth fixing first and how much care you want to put into the little things.

Welcome different guests

Visitors arrive and spend their day exploring the island.

Prepare the places they want to visit, keep an eye on what they need and decide how to organize your time before they move on.

You won't always be able to do everything.

What you choose to take care of (and what you leave for another day) shapes their experience.

Plan your day

Use your planner to keep track of visiting groups, their routes and the places they intend to spend time at.

A day moves from morning through evening, turning every visit into a small management puzzle: what should you prepare now, what can wait, and where will you be needed next?

Make progress that stays

Your work doesn't disappear when the day ends.

Restore neglected locations, improve the island, unlock new possibilities and slowly turn a place that has been deteriorating for years into something that feels alive again.

Some changes are practical.

Others are simply there because you cared enough to make them.

Discover what happened here

The island has a history. And not everything about it is immediately explained.

Meet the people connected to the place, explore its forgotten corners and uncover more of its story as your relationship with the island grows.

What begins as an unusual purchase gradually becomes something much more personal.

Your island doesn't need to be perfect.

It just needs someone willing to KEEP IT.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI tools were used during development to create selected pre-generated textures, sound effects, and promotional artwork. These materials are used as individual components within the game and its marketing rather than being generated dynamically.

AI-assisted materials are selected, edited, adapted, composed, and integrated by the developer to fit the game's original visual and audio direction. The game's design, gameplay systems, implementation, world building, and overall creative direction are developed by the developer.

No generative AI is used during gameplay, and the game does not connect to external AI services while running.
