About This Game

Open Boat is all about running a fishing charter business in simulated real-world waters. Find the fish using real-world fishing knowledge, build your wealth to unlock better boats and bigger waters. Fill the bucket, rain or shine.

Run private charters for a few customers or open-boat trips where anyone with cash can hop aboard. Good captains get tips, repeat customers, and a reputation. Bad captains get an empty rail and a long quiet ride home. Morning, afternoon, and night trips all fish differently, so build your calendar like you mean it.

The sea floor comes from real survey charts. Real channels, real shoals, real drop-offs, and none of it labelled. The game never tells you where the fish are. The tide knows. The birds know. Eventually, you'll know too, and that knowledge will feel earned because it was.
