About This Game

9 Box — a chaotic party game where even death isn't the end.

Ten players enter the arena. Only nine boxes appear. Grab one, pick your ability, aim fast — because in five seconds, everyone acts at once, and the arena will never be the same.

9 Box is a fast, chaotic party battler for up to 10 players. Every round is a mad scramble: move, grab a box, choose one of two abilities inside it, and lock in your target — all in seconds. Then everything resolves simultaneously. Rockets get blown off course by wind. Fire gets doused by water. Walls turn a shove into a knockout. No two rounds play out the same way twice.

Survival isn't the goal — score is. Land smart hits, heal an ally at the right moment, dodge a killing blow, or turn a Neutral ability into a game-changing combo. The last player standing gets a bonus, but they won't automatically win the match.

And dying doesn't take you out of the fight. Fall in battle and you become a Grave — still mobile, still able to mess with the living using a hidden effect only you can see. Even from the grave, you're still playing for score.

Key Features:

  • 10-player free-for-all — fast matches, roughly 5-8 minutes each

  • Grab, Choose, Aim, Resolve — a tight round structure where every ability fires at the exact same moment

  • Deep ability interactions — Wind bends Rockets off course, Water extinguishes Fire, Push sends enemies crashing into Walls, and Tornadoes redirect projectiles mid-flight

  • Score over survival — win by playing smart, not just by staying alive

  • The Grave System — death isn't the end; dead players keep moving, keep scoring, and keep influencing the match through a hidden effect

  • No dominant strategy — abilities rotate so you're never stuck spamming the same move, and power always depends on positioning, timing, and context

  • Stylized 3D toy-world art style — battle it out across a kid's bedroom rug, scaled up like a living toy diorama, with cinematic lighting and vivid VFX
