VELKOR

Every choice has consequences.

Hardcore survival in an open post-apocalyptic world, solo or in co-op for up to three players.

Beyond the settlements lie exclusion zones, treacherous deserts, flooded lands and dead cities. In the north, snow conceals abandoned research facilities. In the south, sand swallows roads and the remains of convoys. Industrial ruins hold things people would risk their lives for—and traces of events they would rather keep quiet about.

Survivors trade, forge alliances and fight for resources. Music plays on the radio until a warning of an approaching threat interrupts it. You still have to reach the nearest shelter, and the vehicle you have entrusted your life to was built from scavenged scrap.

Explore this world, uncover the mystery of VELKOR and piece together your own past. Decide whom to help, whom to trust and who will share the consequences of your choices.

Full version features:

• A vast world with varied survival conditions. Explore exclusion zones, snowy wastelands, scorched deserts, forests, swamps and coastlines. Search bunkers, abandoned industrial sites and ruined settlements. Choose your gear and route for the expedition ahead.

• Stories shaped by choices and consequences. Talk to locals, find evidence and choose how to solve problems. Help, refusal and agreements affect people’s fates and relations between factions. Information discovered on an independent excursion may change a later conversation.

• Solo survival and co-op for up to three players. Explore on your own or invite friends into your story. Share supplies, cover one another and prepare expeditions together. One can drive, another watch the road and a third protect the cargo—you choose your roles.

• Dangerous weather and a day-night cycle. Sandstorms and blizzards reduce visibility, acid rain forces you to seek protection, and emissions turn familiar territory into deadly ground. Radiation lingers in the area for a while after an emission ends. Watch for warnings and plan your route to shelter in advance.

• Hardcore survival conditions. Take care of water, food, health and the condition of your gear. Prepare medicine and supplies before setting out. Injuries, poisoning and radiation can force a change of plans long before you encounter an enemy.

• Combat beyond the safety of settlements. Face bandits, zombies and mutants. Use cover, choose your position and conserve ammunition. Judge when to fight, avoid a threat or retreat with your companions.

• A character and loadout to suit your style. Customize a male or female character’s appearance and choose clothing, armor and equipment. Modify weapons with sights, magazines, suppressors and other available attachments.

• Your own vehicle built from scrap. Find usable parts among the wreckage, restore vehicles and build one for your needs. Choose an engine, wheels, protection and useful equipment. Prepare a light scout vehicle, a supply truck or an armored escort for a dangerous road.

• Convoys and long-range expeditions. Haul valuable cargo across the wastelands, escort your companions and plan your stops. Account for fuel, vehicle condition, weather and possible ambushes. Returning with your loot is an integral part of every excursion.

• Shelters and your own base. Build temporary shelters, set up your homestead and develop a fortified outpost. Place workshops, storage facilities, a medical station and trading posts. Defend your territory with walls, gates, watchtowers and turrets.

• A faction of your own making. Choose a name, set the rules and unite allies. Build relationships with the world’s inhabitants and other groups. Your base will become a place to prepare for expeditions, repair, trade and meet your companions.

• Looting, crafting and trading. Search for supplies, restore useful items and decide what to keep, dismantle or sell. Trade with NPCs, restock and find parts for the next upgrade to your weapons, vehicle or base.

• Wasteland radio. Listen to music stations in vehicles and near installed radios. A dedicated alert channel warns of dangerous events and tells you which region will be threatened.

The demo introduces the game’s basic mechanics and is not the final product!

Dedicated server support is planned for the future with persistence for the shared world, constructed bases and assembled vehicles.
