You're the head coach. In Coach Mode A, call every offensive and defensive play while the athletes execute. In Coach Mode B, trust your coordinators to call the plays. Coach Mode C adds controller-driven player control to the on-field action. All three modes play out in readable Tactical 2D. Build a solo multi-season franchise, then challenge a friend locally, through Steam Remote Play Together, or in a private two-coach Steam rivalry.

• Feel the broadcast — Gridiron Live openings, halftime, postgame, replay packages, touchdown celebrations, first-down moments, crowd reactions, cheerleaders, and team sidelines.

• Save the game in progress — Exit matchday and resume from the saved game state when you return.

Direct Steam rivalries use Steam's relay network and a host-authoritative match state, so no Voxel Pulse account or dedicated Pocket Dynasty server is required. If a connection drops, the game pauses for a reconnect window. Rivalry exhibitions stay separate from dynasty standings, credits, injuries, fatigue, and progression.

Create local private leagues that track wins, losses, ties, points for and against, opponents, recent results, and top performers. The optional companion page shares a one-click Steam lobby link and a read-only league snapshot without sending chat history or profile images to the website.

Can I directly control players? Yes, in Coach Mode C with a controller. Modes A and B focus on coaching decisions while computer-controlled athletes execute the plays.

Can I choose the match pace? Choose 5, 10, or 15-minute quarters (game-clock settings, not a promise of real-world session length). Watch live, jump to key moments, or simulate ahead.

Is there a closed beta? Yes. Invited testers with a Pocket Dynasty for Beta Testing Steam key can access the full game before launch. The free demo is open to everyone.

Is there a demo?

Pre-generated AI tools were used to create some artwork, including store promotional art and in-game character portraits, and some music and audio assets. These assets are prepared before play. Pocket Dynasty does not use generative AI services to create content during gameplay; its football simulation and computer-controlled teams use programmed game systems.
