About This Game

The contract

Beneath a shack deep in the swamp there is a button. The witch who owns the place makes you an offer: press the button. In exchange? Cheap dopamine... forever.

Every press fills the bar. A full bar drops chests. Chests spill relics, relics pay out in gold, and gold buys upgrades that make every press worth more. Then you give it all up for something stranger, and start again stronger.

Press the button

Click it, mash it, hold it. Build a combo, land critical hits that count double, and hire ghostly hands that press for you.

Crack the chests

They pile up around you in six rarities, from Plain to Unspeakable.

• Candle chests: open them before the candle goes out for double relics.

• Mimics: the first open only wakes them. The second open pays.

• Blood-marked chests: their relics sell for triple if you take them fast.

Sweep up the loot with your cursor. Above the pile hangs the Familiar, a candle-lit skull that picks the richest chest and opens it for you.

Fill the shelf, draw the cards, pull the lever

• The shelf: every relic you find takes its place. Complete the collection and it pays you in sigils.

• The altar: pay it, see three cards, keep one. Foils are worth triple.

• The Offertory: a slot machine that pays in alms, sacrament and stranger things.

Perform the Turning

Burn the run down for sigils, spend them on the Sigil Wall, and come back hungrier.

Keep digging. The deeper you go, the stranger it gets, until the pile fills the room and the button asks you a question.
