About This Game

Where Stella Meets Water is a single-path romance visual novel.

There are choices along the way, but they all lead to one ending.

A boy who trusts only what can be proven stays beside a girl the town is slowly forgetting.

Sota Hoshitsugu, captain of his high school's astronomy club, trusts only what can be recorded and proven. While working on the town festival's promotional video, he notices something impossible: his childhood friend Mio Mizuwa is missing from the footage.

One by one, the traces of her existence disappear — from photographs, and from the memories of the people around her. And yet Mio is still there, smiling beside him, just as she always has been.

If something can't be proven, did it ever exist at all? Sota keeps standing beside the girl the town is forgetting.

Set in a small town cradled by a lake and mountains, this is the story of one summer — five members of an astronomy club throwing themselves into making a promotional film for the town festival. Days full of ordinary life and laughter slowly begin to change color.

**Features**

- A bittersweet coming-of-age ensemble drama told as a single path. Choices color the dialogue and presentation; there are no branches or routes to chase.

- Full-color, anime-style CG and character art, in a story that reads in about 6-10 hours.

- A structure that opens with everyday comedy and quietly shifts in tone as the night of the festival draws closer.

- Five high school students, centered on Sota Hoshitsugu and Mio Mizuwa, brought together by a single goal: the "Starlight Reflection Project."

- No voice acting. A visual novel woven from music and text alone, meant to be read slowly.

**Characters**

- **Sota Hoshitsugu** — Astronomy club captain, 18. Believes nothing that isn't on the record, and hides how he really feels behind a smile.

- **Mio Mizuwa** — Astronomy club vice-captain, 18. Sota's childhood friend, loved by everyone in town.

- **Haruka Saiji** — Student council vice-president, 18. Daughter of the festival committee chair.

- **Ren Yoika** — Astronomy club member, 17. In charge of filming; the club's only underclassman and not actually interested in astronomy.

- **Koharu Hisato** — Broadcasting club, 18. Mio's best friend, in charge of the script and narration.
